Birthday

It was my birthday on Thursday! I had a fun day! I got a new phone! And the best movie in the world! The Dark Knight!! I also got a lot of money!! And I took my driver's test!! I passed! But my mom has to get a new car before I get a new car! And that might take awhile! :( But I can still drive!! It's really weird driving without any adults in the car!

Snow Days!

My wished came true!! We had a snow day!! On Tuesday! It was awesome! I got to sleep in! I slept till 12! And relaxed the whole day! It felt amazing! But I had to go shovel! Which wasn't that bad! But the rest of the day was amazing!

Birthdays!

It's my birthday on thursday! I'm going to be 16! I can't believe it! My life has gone by so fast! Before I know it i'll be graduating from college! I'm pretty excited! I get to take my drivers test! I hope I pass!

Snow Day

We may have a snow day sometime this week! I love snow days! There awesome! Theres no school! Which is the best part! You get to sleep in! Finish up any homework you didn't finish the night before! You get to rest all day! Or go play in the snow! Whatever floats your boat! I really hope we have a snow day!!

Thanksgiving

This past Thursday was Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving is a great holiday!! You get to spend time with your family and think of all of all the things your thankful for! There's also another little part of Thanksgiving! All the food you get to eat!! All the turkey ham mashed potatoes I could go on forever! There's a lot of food involved for Thanksgiving! I gain a lot of weight after the days over!!! But I usually get to work all of it off at hockey practice! Except this year we had a scrimmage against Winona! At 9:00!! That means they must have had to wake up at 6!! I don't think I could of done that!! But anyways we lost 3 to 2 I think! It was a pretty good game!

Winter Sports

Winter sports start tomorrow! Well at least hockey does! I'm having some mixed emotions about it! I'm very glad it's starting!! It's something I love to do and enjoying doing!! And these past couple weeks I've been extremely lazy and haven't done anything that involves a lot of activity! But I'm also going to miss that! These next couple of months are going to be very busy! I'm not going to have any time to rest! With practice everyday after school and games every week! Don't forget the homework afterwards!! And this might take time away from my friends! No time for going to tj's after school!! Which sucks!! Oh!! And we have practice everyday of breaks!! Except for Christmas! That's the one day we get off! Isn't that the point of breaks? To have some time to relax from school and sports?! I guess our coach doesn't feel that way! Anyways! I hope we have a great season and make it to state! That would be pretty sweet!!

Minnesota Wild

Last Thursday I went to a wilds game at the Excel Energy Center!! It was pretty fun!! They played the Phoenix Coyotes!!! Who's coached by Wayne Gretzky!!! I was in the same arena as Wayne Gretzky!!! It was really cool!! But for some reason Wayne has a terrible terrible team on his hands! The coyotes are terrible!! I think my brothers squirt team could beat them! And maybe even my sisters team!! There horrible!! And of course the wild won!! 4 to 0!! I think they were all powerplay goals if I'm not mistaken!! Phoenix are terrible on the penalty kill!! I would love to explain to you why i thnik that but I have a ton of homework to finish!! Good Bye!!

Maybe I'll Catch Fire

I'd rather hang half way out a third floor window than blog right now!! I've been sitting here for a half an hour trying to think of something to blog about!! Nothing came to mind! It doesn't help when we have to blog two times a week!! I'm running out of ideas!! My mind is made for blogging two times a week! Maybe I'll catch fire before I have to blog again!! Or maybe I'll fall out of that third floor window!! And fall hard! And land on something tough break me! Or something sharp to rip my insides and bleed out all the hatred I have for blogging!

Alternative Press

Today I just got my December issue of my AP and lately I've been very disappointed with it! So I was kinda excited to read it! Once I saw the cover of it all that excitement ran out of the door screaming ALTERNATIVE PRESS SUCKS!!! Fall Out Boy's on the cover! Seriously!!! Fall Out Boy's the biggest sell outs in the history of sell outs!!! And the had the talent to be a decent band!! There first record "Take This to Your Grave" was pretty good!! I still listen to it today!! But after that they got to full of themselves and starting producing sucky music!! Anyways!! Back to the main point of this blog!! AP is going downhill fast!! All it talks about now is crappy bands we've already heard of! When I subscribed to this magazine I was expecting to learn about new bands and to read there reviews on new album releases! I don't think I've learned about a new band yet!! All the new bands they talk about sound exactly the same as any other band they have in the magazine! And I don't listen to the bands they give album reviews for!! Out of the 10 issues I've gotten and I think I've only looked at four reviews! And they didn't help me at all! So the only thing I ever look at is the album release dates! I can find all that information on the Internet! I'm not wasting any more money on this magazine! I'm thinking about subscribing to a magazine that actually found me out by the kind of music I listen to!! Isn't that awesome!! I'm sure AP couldn't do that even if they tried!!

Keasbey Nights

Keasbey Nights in my opinion is one of the best ska albums ever made!! Every song on it is amazing!! At first I bought a few songs from it! Though that they were ok! But then I really started to listen to them! And they were amazing! And so i decided to buy the album!! And guess what?! The album was also amazing! Theres not one bad song on it!! I reccomend you buying it!! Especially if your a novature who doenst listen to ska!!

Halloween

This past Friday was Halloween!! Halloween is a very special holiday!! It's where you get to dress up as something your not!! Oh!! And you got lots and lots of candy! The last time I went trick-or-treating was in 6th grade!! For the last three Halloween's I've been going to other peoples houses to watch scary movies!! Which is really fun!! So far the movies haven't been all that scary but extremely weird! This year we watched ruins!! It's actually a pretty decent movie!! We had the choice of watching another movie that sounded really dumb! I heard of it from a very good friend of mine that I used to sit by in math class!! Im really glad we wathced the other one!! That is my point of view on Halloween!!

Snow

Guess what?! It's snowing out! And it's still October! Who knew we would get snow in October! Snow is awesome!! It's fun to play in! Sometimes is the reason school's cancelled! And snow reminds of Christmas! Christmas is also awesome! We get a back from school! You get to see some of your family! And you also get presents!!

The Brightest Bulb Has Burned Out

Last Thursday our girls soccer team played at state! They played against the Rochester Lourdes! The Lourdes were a very skilled team! They ended up beating us two to 0! They played a very great game!! But there's one thing I'm very confused about. I was extremely confused about their formation at the beginning of the game! They had a 4-5-1! How are you supposed to create any offense with one offender?! And it was way to clustered in the middle with five midfielders!! It just doesn't make sense to me! I happened to talk with someone on the team and they said they had just learned three new formations that they were going to use in the game! Why would you teach them new formations when the formation you've been using has worked all year and brought you to state?! Another thing I'm confused is about is Sophie!! She is an amazing player and usually plays defense! They put her on offense the last couple minutes of the game! She did great! She had lots of scoring opportunities! And the defense was doing just fine without her! So why put her on offense the last couple minutes of the game?! His coaching strategies just don't make much sense to me!

State!

The girls albert lea varsity team is going to state!!! They won a pretty intense game on Thursday! Don't remember who they played but they beat them in a shootout!! Don't remember who scored the winning goal but it was an amazing shot! I kinda doubted them after the other team scored the first goal! But they proved me wrong after they scored the tying goal! I think there first game is Thursday! At 7:00! In cottege grove! I'm not real positive on that information! But whenever it is I'll be there!! Cheering on our team!

My expereince in Chicago!

In this blog I will be telling you some of the experiences I have had on this trip! The first day we went to Navy Pier! It was really fun! Except I really wanted to go to the Imax theater! And my all time favorite movie was showing!! THE DARK KNIGHT!! But it was a midnight showing and we had to wake up early so my dad was very hesitant of going! We didn't end up going due to the fact my dad fell asleep around ten!! I was thinking about driving myself but Chicago is a very very crazy place! Speaking of which I don't think I have ever seen so many accidents in my life!! Every two seconds you hear the police sirens and see the fire truck and ambulance come racing down the street! But back to the main point of this blog!! After we were done walking the Pier we decided to walk the streets of downtown Chicago! That was quite the experience! After a few hours we decided to call it a day! We then had to get ready for a dinner at a Italian Steakhouse where they served us a 7 course meal! The food was pretty good! The next day we went to a mall! I didn't really like this mall. So my dad and brother and I decieded to go to best buy!! Where I bought Life Is Not A Waiting Room! But it's way past my bedtime and I can't keep my eyes open! Any questions or comments please call my secretory. She'll be glad to answer any of your questions!

Chicago!

Today I will be making a trip to the good old town of Chicago! I've never been to Chicago before. Lot's of my cousins live in Chicago! Two of my favorite bands our from Chicago! By the way!! Rise Against has a new album!! It's going to be amazing! My copy of it is in some big brown truck traveling across America with an awesome t-shirt and a poster! Senses Fail also has a new album out! I plan on buying it in Chicago! But back to the main point of this blog! I've made some arrangements to meet with my good pals Matt Skiba and Tim McIlrath! I haven't seen them in quite some time! But we go way back so it's all good! I will also be going to a wedding! My long lost cousin is getting married! I haven't seen him for a very long time!! But I think we may be embarking on our epic journey! Hope you all have a fabulous time in shcool on monday!

Fall Sports

We all know that fall sports are starting to come to an end. For some people this is great feeling!! Especially when your coach goes by the name of Freddie Palomo! Now I'm not saying Freddie is a bad guy, all I'm saying is he is a TERRIBLE soccer coach! I don't think he taught me one thing this year! Wait let me rephrase that, he didn't teach me anything about soccer! He is the reason for many losses of this years JV soccer team. He brought our teams chemistry to level we have never experienced before! Our JV team has an almost identical roster as our summer team. Our summer team has never yelled at another player for being terrible ,cocky , or just messing up! If you held on to the ball for a millisecond to long your were being attacked by your own players! There supposed to help you not criticize you! But back to the main point of this blog! For some people this could be devastating! Especially if it's the only sport you play and you love the sport you play! For me, it's a great feeling! Right now I'm fed up with my soccer team! And i can blame Freddie for that! But that's not the only reason it's a great feeling! Winter sports are starting! I'm very excited to start hockey! k BYE :)

Fall

I strongly disagree with my good friend Jonathon Koenigs. I personally like the season fall. I love the weather that fall brings. It's not to hot, yet it's not to cold. It's also good weather to play outdoor sports. When your active you'll never overheat! But if your active in the summer theres a good chance you may overheat!! While in the winter its to cold to play any outdoor sport!! That's why they made all the winter sports indoors! The only disadvantage of fall is school. But otherwise fall is an amazing season and everyone should enjoy it!

Terrible Refrees

The state of Minnesota has numerous referee's that don't know the game of soccer. So far this fall soccer season there has been one or two games were the referee's knew what they were doing. Every other game has been different. The referee's don't know how to call all foul on the opposing team. We've been screwed over more than once because of this. An example of this is the Winona game. We trailing by one and had the intensity to beat this team. We had many opportunity's but unfortunately we couldn't put the biscuit in the basket. Towards the end of the game Winona knew they had to do something to stop us from scoring. Earlier in the game they had gotten away with a few trips and pushes. So they started to take advantage of it. All they did was trip and push and the referee's wouldn't call anything. These referee's caused us the game. We had lost that game 2 to 3. I'm getting sick of losing because of these so called referee's.

Agony & Irony

Alkaline Trio's new album is just what i expected! when i first heard that alkaline trio had a new album coming out i flipped out!! i didn't really know what to expect! i was hoping they wouldn't change a whole lot! but being a band since 1996 i would expect a little bit of change! but change isn't always band especially in this case! this cd is a lot different then there first album! i would have to say there first album is my favorite! but this album is really good! if your a fan of alkaline trio I'm sure you'll love this album!

The 59' Sound

The Gaslights Anthem's new album is amazing!! They have a very unique sound i have never heard of in any other kind of band before! I love it!! Its a combination between soul, punk, and a little blues!! I heard about them from the Rise Against and Alkaline Trio concert! They must be a good band if there touring with Alkaline Trio and Rise Against!! Thrice is also going to be there I may be going to it on November 18th! They are all great bands! The concert is at The Myth! Its going to be an awesome concert!! I recommend you going!! And i also recommend buying The 59' Sound! Its worth it!!

Lost in the Sound of Separation

I finally got the new underoath cd!! i've been waiting since september 2nd to get it!!! its everything i expected and even more!! it kinda takes off where define the great line left off! i didnt think they could make an album as great as define the great line!! but they did! thats why there one of my favorite bands!! if you like underoath i strongly recomended you getting this cd!!

Homework!!

Everyday of this week i have had lots and lots of homework! I've been spending 2-4 hours every on homework! I'm in soccer! We have away games in Rochester, Mankato, Winona! Last tuesday we played in Rochester and did'nt get home till 11! i had math, biology, engineering, and a little bit of spanish to do! i didnt get to bed till 2 am! i was very tired and couldnt finish all of it! so i had to wake up earlier than usuall to finish it! i was tired during the whole day and couldnt concentrate! on days i dont have a game i still dont get to bed till 11 or 12! i cant do my work in school when i dont get enoguh sleep! all im ask is for the teachers to lighten up on the homework!
